Our Mission 

New Music Mosaic is a collective of musicians and artists.

Our priority is to promote a more equitable musical community through the performance, creation, and dissemination of new music by artists of diverse backgrounds and identities.

 

Structured around the anarchist concept of mutual aid, members are free to spearhead or support collaborative projects when inspired to do so. This structure allows for a fluid sense of leadership from project to project without restrictive hierarchies, in addition to giving credit to the work and ideas of groups that have often been excluded or diminished in the new music community.

New Music Mosaic administration organizes and disseminates information to the overall collective and supports projects where possible without invasive oversight.
